Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has appointed Sujata Koirala as the Deputy Prime Minister.

Koirala took oath of office and secrecy Monday evening at the President's office, Shital Niwas.

Daughter of Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala, Sujata is foreign minister and leader of NC team of the present cabinet.

PM Nepal was under pressure from NC president Koirala since a long time to appoint his daughter as the DPM.
