If you are much into gaming, then i suggest you to get your system with AMD's Phenom processor. Its hard to tell what is the exact configuration because it all depends upon your needs. But the configuration you wrote i.e. AMD's phenom processor with 4gb ram, 500gb hard disk and 8600gt graphic card is good enough. BUt i dunno whether  you'll get all these in 50K

i got 2.5Ghz with 12mb cache core 2 quad
1 TB hd
4 Gb ram
9500 GT graphics card
19" lcd
ups and adsl modem and it cost me exactly 65,000
and i'm kinda confused
i installed vista and i got rating of 4.6 only, i was expecting more
i got 5.9 on processor, memory, gaming graphics and primary hd but i got only 4.6 on graphics (desktop performance for windows aero) why ???
